No. Instruction Hours: 36
Course Description:
This 4.5 day course is designed for personnel actively involved in a watershed modeling project. The course will provide overview of the hydrologic processes simulated by PRMS and improve skills in model setup and calibration. Participants are expected to bring their own project application to work on as class exercises. Participants will then give a presentation of their results to the class for further comments and recommendations. Course objectives are: (1) teach the students what they need to know to go from DEM and stream gage locations(s) to calibrating and evaluating a PRMS model; (2) identify and address application specific issues; and (3) students return with the skills to lead, train, support, and manage other personnel on PRMS projects. REGISTRATION DEADLINE DATE IS MAY 6, 2009. ALL REGISTRATION IS TO BE COMPLETED IN DOI LEARN AT THE FOLLOWING URL: http://doilearn.doi.gov.
