Administration Plan: |
Explanation:
This part of
phase VII explains how the course will be announced, how students
will be registered, etc. |
Example:
The course
will be announced by the Office of Organizational and Employee Development. This will
include putting an E-Mail on the All USGS employee Bulletin Board,
as well as sending the announcement to the appropriate USGS listserv.
The course will also be listed on OED's Learning Portal website
in the course catalog. Students will register for the course through
the USGS Training Management System.
OED will maintain
and administer the Breeze server where this WBT course will reside.

Evaluation Plan: |
Explanation:
This section
lists what evaluations will be done on the trainees and course materials.
Please click here to see an example of Kirkpatrick's 4 levels of evaluation. |
Example:
Level 1 Evaluation
will be achieved through the use of the automatic evaluation form through TMS.
Level 2 Evaluation will be achieved through the pre- and post-course assessments.
Six months after student has completed the course, the Lead Instructional Designer will conduct a Level 3 Evaluation by doing phone interviews with student's supervisor.

| C. Update Plan: |
| This subsection describes who will be responsible for updating the TEL course and having the course evaluated/validated after major changes. |
The lead Instructional Designer, Mike Nolan, will be responsible for reviewing and updating the course as needed. Every six months to a year, Mike will pull all student evaluations of the course and make sure that the objectives are still being met with the current course format. |
